The Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control on Feb. 25, 2026, announced sanctions against more than 30 individuals, entities and vessels it said enable illicit Iranian petroleum sales and support Iran’s ballistic missile and advanced conventional weapons (ACW) production.

Treasury said OFAC targeted additional vessels operating as part of Iran’s “shadow fleet,” which it said transports Iranian petroleum and petroleum products to foreign markets. Treasury also said it targeted procurement networks that facilitate access to precursor materials and sensitive machinery for Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics (MODAFL), including support for unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) proliferation to third countries.

Treasury said the action was taken under Executive Order 13902 (Iran’s key economic sectors), Executive Order 13382 (weapons of mass destruction proliferators and supporters), and Executive Order 13949 (property of certain persons tied to Iran’s conventional arms activities).

In the shadow fleet action, OFAC said it designated companies for operating in Iran’s petroleum sector under E.O. 13902 and identified multiple vessels as blocked property linked to those blocked persons. The SDN List update published by OFAC includes vessels added under the Iran-related authority tag for E.O. 13902 and multiple shipping companies listed under the same authority.

In a separate nonproliferation-focused action, OFAC said it targeted individuals and entities in Iran, Türkiye and the United Arab Emirates that facilitated procurement of precursor chemicals and sensitive machinery for the IRGC and MODAFL and their missile and ACW programs. Treasury’s press release said Türkiye-based Utus Gumrukleme Gida Tekstil Ithalat Ihracat Dis Ticaret ve Sanayi Limited Sirketi, Arya Global Gida Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Sirketi, and Altis Tekstil Makina Ticaret Limited Sirketi were designated under E.O. 13382 for providing or attempting to provide support to Iran-based Oje Parvaz Mado Nafar Company.

OFAC’s SDN List update for Feb. 25, 2026 shows additional individuals and entities added under nonproliferation-related programs, and notes “Additional Sanctions Information – Subject to Secondary Sanctions” for multiple entries.
