OFAC removes Delcy Rodríguez from Venezuela-related SDN list

WASHINGTON, April 1, 2026 - The U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control removed Delcy Eloina Rodríguez Gómez, the Venezuelan interim president from its Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List under the Venezuela sanctions program, according to an update published Wednesday.
OFAC said the deletion covers the listing for “RODRIGUEZ GOMEZ, Delcy Eloina,” also known as “RODRIGUEZ, Delcy,” and a duplicate-form entry under the reversed name format. The notice identifies her as a Venezuelan citizen born May 18, 1969, with an address in the Capital District of Venezuela.
The agency categorized the move as a sanctions list update and said there were no unrelated administrative list changes in the action.
The removal means the named individual is no longer listed on OFAC’s SDN List under the Venezuela-related sanctions authorities cited in the notice. OFAC did not provide further explanation on the page for the designation removal.
