OFAC adds five Nicaragua-linked individuals, issues Russia-related General License 131C
The Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control on Feb. 26 issued Russia-related General License 131C and amended two Russia-related FAQs, and it updated its SDN List by adding five individuals linked to Nicaragua.
The Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) on Feb. 26 issued Russia-related General License 131C, titled “Authorizing Certain Transactions for the Negotiation of and Entry Into Contingent Contracts for the Sale of Lukoil International GmbH and Related Maintenance Activities.”
OFAC also issued two amended Russia-related Frequently Asked Questions, FAQs 1224 and 1225.
In the same update, OFAC added five individuals to its Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List under its Nicaragua program.
The OFAC update did not list any unrelated administrative list updates.
